One of my kids keeps telling me that smoking is good for health and causes death


The other keeps telling me to stop looking at women while driving otherwise we'll end up with an accident

My 9 year old grand daughter over heard her mum and I talking about a good friend of mine, whose grown up kids are not happy about the new man in her life, and are giving her a hard time.





My grand daughter looked up and said (we didn't realise she was listening)...';well i think Carols' family should mind their own business. She is there mum and they can't tell her what to do. she had brought them up and now they have got to let her be happy too.';





As they say..........out of the mouths of babes.





another time was when she was six she was watching me type on the pc, and i deleted my mistakes with the back spacer. She said ';granny, if you use those arrows there you can go right to the word you want to erase and not have to erase everything that you typed after that!!......i was so proud of her!!!



umm, wouldnt recommend that, speaking of their pure opinions about things ..well children of todays generation know more than they should and have hyper attitudes , they are unlikely to be called angels as long ago. they can state or critizise things that may distract ur attention to fix but to give a plain wise advice ..i doubt.
I listen to them, take their advices seriously and I think about it. All of that doesn't mean they have the experience or wisdom of old ages. They are just another way to learn for the people who search for new things to learn.
Every day I learn something from a child. There views are uncorrupted and it's all from the heart. They forgive so easy and love you unconditionally.I'd take the advice of a child any day.
yes. but sometimes children's advice can be too wise for the other to get it. and in the most cases it can get you to trouble.

You are exactly right.. children are brutally honest and would probably tell you the truth about weither you look fat or your house isn't clean enough before anyone else will!
