to succeed?
I'm going to be helping with the freshman orientation this year and for my group I have bags of candy for them but I'd also like to attatch a short little note on each bag with one tip to succeed in high school...or just something to encourage them.
Any ideas of things I could say?What advice/tips would you give freshmen in high school?
Starting your Freshman year, make a committment to become more open-minded to knowledge. The more you learn about any topic, the more exciting it will become. Ask lots of questions and get involved in anything and everything. Whether it be gym class, art, math or physics, there's pleasant surprises everywhere.. As an adult, you will find your popularity soar as you become more and more well-rounded.What advice/tips would you give freshmen in high school?
you have bags of candy for 14 year olds? do you have a puppy in your car as well?
they are teenagers, not 5 year olds. you'll get them rolling their eyes at you the entire day.
tell them to study, don't buy a pool pass if the school doesn't have one, and to study some more.
The same old stuff:
Be you're self and don't give in to peer pressure.
DONT SKIP, and join some clubs and activities to meet new friends.
work hard to suceeed, try the best you can, try new things and clubs in highschool, and yea... Just ask some other kids...that aren't freshmans what type of tips...
Yeah well that is generous but don't have expectations
that sounds really elementary school..
but
';DONT PROCRASTINATE!';
study hard, volunteer, participate in clubs or sport teams
Obvious things such as: Be yourself, try your hardest ...
I don't think they expect much.
When you start, set your mind to one thing - studying and passing....!
