10 point to the best answer!!What advice/tips would you give to a young man as myself who has a passion to succeed in the business world?
Never give up. You will fall, people will laugh and point becuse they fear those that want more than the day to day grind. When that happens get up and try againg, do not make the mistake of assuming that temporary defeat is failure. the only way failure becomes reality is if you belive it to be reality. Success is not easy otherwise everybody would be there. Do not allow yourself to give up on your dreams, focuse on your goals. Attached is a speach that motivated me from Bill Gates.

----------Whether you like Bill Gates or not...this is pretty

cool. Here's some advice Bill Gates recently dished out

at a high school speech about 11 things they did not

learn in school. He talks about how feel-good,

politically correct teaching has created a full

generation of kids with no concept of reality and how

this concept sets them up for failure in the real

world.

RULE 1

Life is not fair - get used to it.

RULE 2

The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world

will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel

good about yourself.

RULE 3

You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out

of high school. You won't be a vice president with

car phone, until you earn both.

RULE 4

If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a

boss. He doesn't have tenure.

RULE 5

Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your

grandparents had a different word for burger flipping

they

called it Opportunity.

RULE 6

If you mess up,it's not your parents' fault, so don't

whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

RULE 7

Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as

they are now. They got that way from paying your bills,

cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about

how cool you are. So before you save the rain forest

from the parasites of your parent's generation, try

delousing the closet in your own room.

RULE 8

Your school may have done away with winners and losers,

but life has not. In some schools they have abolished

failing grades and they'll give you as many times as

you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the

slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

RULE 9

Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get

summers off and very few employers are interested in

helping you find yourself. Do that on your own time.

RULE 10

Television is NOT real life. In real life people

actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

RULE 11

Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for

one. What advice/tips would you give to a young man as myself who has a passion to succeed in the business world?
Find out what you have a passion for and would love to do. Doing something you like and really have a strong interest in is one of the keys to being successful. Do what you love and the money will come. To many people are in careers they do not like having to go to every day.

When you find something you would like to learn more about do not hesitate to go to someone in that business and talk to them. Example: If you want to be in real estate look up realtor's and find one of them that will sit down and let you pick there brain. Kinda like career day in high schools.

Think outside of the box! Look at Entrepreneur magazine and you will find so many people doing businesses that once you see there success you say to yourself ';Why didn't I think of that';

My hats off to you for thinking about your future when most people your age are thinking about where the next party is. Good luck!
Gain experience wherever you can find, especially when you are young. Work for free if you have to, rather than just taking a normal student type job. It's never too early to be interning. You need something to put on a resume.

Read, read, read. The Wall Street Journal, The Economist and Business Week are all great.

Network. Always ask successful people for advice. Pick their brain. Build your network. It is who you know.

Start mapping out your future. Be thinking about business school and what it'd take to get in a top 10 school.

Be honest with yourself and determine what you are really good at it.

Good luck.
Decide that no matter what, you will be honest in all your doings. I'm sure that as young as you are, that your most attractive outfit would not be stripes. Below is a fairly easy article to read from the Chicago Times about someone who thought fraud would pay.
Yes, come up with a good idea, get it patented, and then sell it to huge company's. I'm only twelve, and I've already done it. You need some money for the patent though.
Read and Understand the book Rich Dad Poor Dad - Learn Accounting even if you hate it. Learn to sell
