There is a product called the Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder, and you can buy it at places like Walmart, Meijer and even Amazon.com. It's a small net that locks shut to keep your baby safe from choking. You can place ice cubes or frozen fruits and veggies in there and let your baby chew away.
My son LOVED frozen berries, bananas and watermelon in that net when he was teething. He would never chew on the rubber teething rings, so we bought him a Munchkin and it was a lifesaver!Does anyone have any tips or advice to help ease the pain for teething babies?
We would put a product called Ambesol on their gums to help ease the pain. I would think that they still make it. Good luck.
try letting them suck on a long piece of cucumber so they cant swallow it or a metal tea spoon because its cold
I bought organic vanila teething bicuts and my son LOVES them! Baby orajel which I am sure they told you. Also a teething toy in the fridge is great!
I used to freeze carrots (large enough that she can't try to swallow them and end up choking) and let her gnaw on them to help cut the teeth.
Popsicles are good, as are hard biscuits and whatnot.
There's topical gels you can get to numb the gums as well.
We are going thru teething too, we tried the pacifer in the freezer, oral jels tylenol, wash cloths and lots of love! Those darn teeth hurt!
I used Tylenol and it seemed to work better than any ';tooth'; aide. I also gave him a frozen wet washcloth to chew on. He loved it.
