I am a 16 year old girl, and Basketball season is just around the corner. Tryouts are the week of November 3rd, and I wanted some suggestions on getting back in shape, and like getting my stamina back up. Also getting my mind back into basketball mode. Any dieting tips and training tips etc. would help me out a lot! =]

Start with a lot of cardio. Sprints and suicides. Eat a lot of protein and lean meats, chicken. Any tips or advice for getting back in shape for basketball season?
I think you should practice more everyday. Focus on your shooting, passing, and court vision. Also, during leg and body stretches before you practice is good. Just make sure you get at least an hour everyday of practice, and you can make the team.
