- Alot of cameras

- Hire a off-duty cop

- choose a location next to a major store(which would probably have security guards themselves)

- Don't open late at night (that will depends on which fast food chain you're getting in)

- If you open late at night, only do drive-through

- Set up metal bars for the doors %26amp; windows(if your chain allows that)What tips or advice do you have for someone opening up a fast food restaurant in a crime infested neighborhood
don't....

okay seriously....have paid security first and foremost.....second, bullet proof windows, never have less than 3 visible people working a shift, especially at night. have a drop safe able to be open by only 1 or 2 managers during the day only. post signs in very visible places to that effect....install a panic button that employees can use to summon the police in the even of a robbery...train train train your employees on saftey in the event of a robbery. Hire people you can trust and you feel comfortable with.

Good luck!
