Tips or advice on giving oral testimony in court?

I'm having to give an oral testimony tomorrow in court for the sake and protection of two young children. Does anyone have any tips or advice that would make this process a little easier or smoother? Personal experiences would be nice to hear as well. Thanks all.Tips or advice on giving oral testimony in court?
Answer the questions as honestly as you can. Answer ONLY the question and do NOT volunteer anything else. Keep you answer to JUST the facts and avoid giving your ';Opinion'; unless asked to do so. In other words, just give testimony that is asked for and keep quiet about anything else, regardless of HOW you feel, either for or against the people involved. Oh, and try to be as respectful as possible to everyone in the courtroom. And shut up after you are done and do not whisper or talk to anyone else while you are in the courtroom.

Yes, just tell the truth as you see it. Don't make generalizations, and don't offer opinions
