Water early in the morning. Avoid strong fertilizers until your plants are mature. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. I've personally murdered many a good plant through neglect, ignorance, and stupidity.

Read the little cards that come with the plants, there is a lot of use-full information there.Gardening Tips, Advice, anything helpfull for a BEGINNER starting a new garden?
water + plants = good
check out http://houseofwesley.com. You can find some really good deals. Buy some bulbs and stick them in the dirt. Water them every day and you will have a good start.
this time of year i would buy starter plants, note annual plants come up every year and generally spread, note how tall they grow, put tall in back, smaller ones in the front ,if you put mulch around the plants it keeps them moist til the the plants take hold make sure you put a little water in the hole when planted water good, plant in the evening while it is cool then they have all night to take hold water plants late after noon so the plant wont burn up or early morning.now if you like wild flowers, read back of direction, there is an old wife's tale never say THANK YOU after you buy them or if someone gives them to you ,i don't really know this as a fact some were along the line some one will tell you this.
when You plant seeds for flowers make sure you water the area. And pulls any weeds. make sure you know what type of bugs eat plants cuz they will eat them. any ways thats all I can think of
