haha
Is there such a thing? I have never heard of this. But if you are making fun of vegetarians/vegans then I approve!Im thinking about becoming a fruitarian. Any body have any tips/advice?
To the 1st answer: It's EASIER to get more protein from fruit than veggies. Veggies take 2-5 times longer to digest. Fruit on the other hand doesn't take digestive energy = free. That's 1 reason a person can get by on a fruit diet.
But the transition is not easy. And the questioner shouldn't rely on this site for tips(note, 2 people that answered never heard of it).
Check out this site: Fruitarian bodybuilder explains it all: http://www.charliesgym.info/wst_page2.ht鈥?/a>
And look up Richard Blackman and his difficult detox.
I'm 50% fruitarian, and have no detox trouble, I'm working my way to 80%.
Just do lots of research. That fruit diet sounds intense
7 a.m. - 2 oranges or fruit in season
8 a.m. - 5 to 8 or so rambutans, a tropical fruit here in Hawaii
9 a.m. - 5 bananas with 10-12 Kale leaves (the bananas in Hawaii are finger bananas, about 5'; long)
10:30 a.m. - 12 bananas with a rib of celery
12 noon - 12 bananas with celery ribs
2:00 p.m. -12 bananas with 2-3 celery rib
4:00 p.m. - 4-5 pieces of other fruit in season such as peaches, apricots, etc
Just be really smart, the more you know, the better you will be prepared, plus, people will try and tell you that you are 'wrong' or 'unhealthy' so the more you know, the better defence you will have against them :) good luck
its really importaint not to block out a major food group and if you dont eat vegetables you wont be able to get alot of protien. I suddgest staying a vegetarian.
I don't know a whole lot about this. But I've heard it's very hard to get many nutrients you need, not eating any vegetables.
